A day in the life of....

I think one of the best things in the world is to have a friend that knows you so well that you can go months, even years without talking then one day get a phone call and wa- la... it's like you saw each other last week!

Bella decided that she wanted to hide her "kiki" today. She put her binky inside the subwoofer and that was too bad because there is no way to retrieve them from speaker world. I think she is now in mourning for her loss.
Joe just told me she now has 2 in there. I asked if we could cut the back of the speaker and get them out. He looked at me kinda funny and said, "let me get this straight, you want to ruin a $200 subwoofer to get out a $4.00 set of pacifiers? "
Anyone that knows me will get this. My response was "maybe cause I knew what one of the binkies looked like but I didn't know what the other one looked like to replace it." Yea, I know.

Her vocabulary is getting bigger everyday.... she is now saying the following:
ball, mom, daddy, kiki (binky), mine, bite, drink, sock, shoes, puppy, kitty, apple, banana, duck, bath, get down, up, sit, me -ma (grandma), bottle, eat, thank you and please.

Being a stay at home mom is I think much harder than any other job, but so so much more rewarding!! I just gave birth to our fifth child!! HOLY COW, yes five! I am 27 and can not believe I have five children! We have four girls and just added a boy. WOW is dad happy!! I don't think I can even put into words how terrified I was to have a boy! I honestly think I cried at least once a day the last month just thinking about it! I was so afraid that I wouldn't be able to change is diaper or know how to talk to him!! Then he arrived, yes the first few days of diaper changing and getting peed on were a struggle. I even got hit (with his wonderful aim) in the face. But then it all just fell into place just like with my girls! I still remember holding him and just being in that moment of amazement when you are holding your new born when Bryan (my husband) asked me, so sweetly, "still so scary to have a boy". Of course my reply was no. I am still terrified that I am going to mess up some how but not just with him with all of my children! But honestly what mother isn't, right!? All I know is I am so blessed to have 5 beautiful angels in my life and I thank heaven every day for them!
